Senior Comfort Advisor

Climate Works Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is one of the fastest-growing heating and air conditioning businesses the National Capital Region. We are seeking to hire a talented sales consultant professional to join our growing team of professionals. Key Activities:

  • Consult customers to determine their needs and what systems would suit them best, provide recommendations for various options to meet their budget and provide an HVAC system that will satisfy them;
  • Explain various products to potential customers to make them aware of their options and gain trust in Climate Works;
  • Communicate with customers in person, by phone, and by email to understand their needs, see the sales through completion, and provide each customer with a positive experience;
  • Become aware of and maintain knowledge of the products Climate Works carries;
  • Establish new relationships with customers and maintain existing relationships with past and repeat clients;
  • Follow sales processes Climate Works has developed including required administrative tasks to ensure the client is delivered the best quality service possible and installation crews are provided with the proper information to perform the work;
  • Setup, maintain and work within advertising budget as required to generate leads through various sources such as home shows, Google AdWords, and social media;
  • Setup and attend home shows throughout the year, typically 2 to 3 shows per year; and
  • Work with web site developers to maintain a web site with up to date products, work with an advertising company to generate social media posts and ad campaigns.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in residential HVAC sales and 5 years of trade experience;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Must be proficient in the use of smartphones, computers, and Microsoft Office;
  • Knowledge of marketing, experience in marketing is an asset; and,
  • Familiarity with furnaces, central air conditioners, ductless air conditioners, boilers, and indoor air quality equipment.

Compensation:

  • Salary plus commission;
  • 2 weeks of vacation time upon starting the position, after one year this will be revisited;
  • Company benefits after 3 months;
  • Company vehicle; and,
  • Cell phone, iPad, and laptop computer to be used as sales tools.
