Climate Works NADCA Approved Process
Floor protection is used throughout to ensure floors and/or carpets are kept clean from any dust or debris caused from the duct cleaning process. We will:
Don't be fooled by Glorified Shop Vac's AKA "Duct Scrubbers"
"Duct Scrubbing" Machines, limited to about 700 CFM and only a 2" Hose (Like a Shop Vac) are NOT able to reach most of the duct system, let alone remove larger debris.
As they do not create a negative pressure (Vacuum) on the system, these systems are NOT NADCA Approved as an effective Duct Cleaning Method.
Only NADCA Certified Duct Cleaning is guarateed to be done to the top standards that NADCA prescribes.
- Clean and seal off each supply air register to direct a full 2500-3000 CFM of negative pressure to each vent individually.
- Clean and seal off each return air register to direct air flow and suction power as above.
- 200-250 pounds PSIG of compressed air with a whip is used to air blast the dirt off the wall of each duct individually, and direct the dirt as well as larger construction type debris like blocks of wood to the main vacuum where it is removed through the 8" hose..
- Clean permanent air filters
- Clean supply and return plenums
- Applying Anti-microbial disinfectant fogging of entire ductwork system.
- Wipe down inside all hot and cold air vents
